Like a Candle in the Wind.
All was Well,
and the day was bright,
All living being were happy,
about the bright new day,
When everything suddenly changed,
and the day was dark,
The happy day suddenly turned sour,
like a candle wind ,
she was blown off,
The jewel of inestimable value,
has gone to great Beyond!,
She was a Gem in life,
Even a genius in death,
a caring Wife and Mother,
The incorruptable Judge,
in the Home Court,
The Teacher of Her Children,
the ever loving Mother to all,
Kehinde,You are a Gem,
Ejire,You lived a great life,
Alice,You are a mother to all,
Sleep on till we meet to path no more,
Aduke,Continue to rest in the Bossom of the Lord,
May we never witness such Incur.

Brethren,
Today ,here we all assemble to pay Our last respect to a kind hearted woman who once pregnant with Celestial Fire.We have come With Sobing Hearts and tear ridden eyes to say good bye, until we meet at the feet of Almighty God,to a true Christian ,a Sincere Friend,a Good wife a loving Mother who once anwsered to the naem ALICE KEHINDE OLOYEDE.(nee Adebayo). we have lost a welfarist and benevolent sister who lived a well-ordered life Spanning Saturday,27th Januray 1945 To Monday ,16th June 2003.
In Shakespare's Julius ceaser ,Brutus said of His illustrious Friend and compatriot,Cassius:Quote "The last of all the Romans fare thee well".Unquote All Abeokuta Descendants Fare thee well.
What Description is more fitting for the wife of the Chief Founder of ADUN thatn that She was Consistent and Staunch Member of The Union. No True Member Of Adun Can Claim Ignorance of the Name A.K OLOYEDE; and indeed no ture meember of the union will ever forget her progressive contributions the development and growth of ADUN.Kehinde Apart From other-multivarious Fuctions you performed in ADUN,You were once the Chair Lady of Ebute Metta Mother Union, active Memebr Of lagos District Council,Member of the National Executive Council and the Administrative Council.Alice Kehinde Oloyede has played her part very well and has left foot prints in the sands of time.It is Only left to you and me to play our parts with love towards all and malice to none.
Death where is they sting? You have treacherously taken a complete wife and mother,a humble sister and a good comforter away from us.But we believe that our sister is now given a comfortable place among the saints in Heaven.

Brothers and Sisters,Our Indefatigable memebr is mute .Mourn for Alice who loved you and us so much .Kehinde who was moderate in her ways and Aduke who was resolute in her plans and yet was free from any ambitious Crimes.Such was she whom we bury today. Her long self sacrifices of life is over .Our Sister and True friend will of number 11 Ayinde street,Alagomeji Yaba Will be seen no more. She will no more be seen going to Ogungbade Village to atteend family meetings and functions. She will no more be seen plodding her ways to African Church Cathedral Salem either to worship or to attend society and harvest Comitee Meetings. No more Participation for her in ADUN.
As we depart here today, let us borow a leaf from the life of this women.Let us emulate her noble life and serve our generations as she had done.Let us think of her as long as the races mankind endure, let her shining examples stands forever.
It is our earnest hope that the children will keep the flag flying and the the flame burning brightly ever.We hope they will keep the name of their mother alive for all time.May God in his Infinite Mercies help them to do so Amen.
The Grave yawned and the Mortal Disappeared.Ash to ash ,Dust To Dust. She is gone who was so frank and Magnanimous .God Accept her ,Christ receive Her.Let us all leave this place with sober reflections, realizing that sooner or later it will be our turn and that noble deeds like the ones of Kehinde can save us at last.
Alice, you have left us to carry on the struggle.kehinde,we promise that we shall shall neither flinch nor relent.we shall try to be like you .Sleep on Beloved. Please Know that everyword we have spoken this day comes straight from our heart and they express the summary of Opinion that People Have of you.
